Not buying anything for 31 days

Our family will be trying not to buy anything for 31 day. I know its going to be hard. we will have some rules and we will be linking up at- We will still pay bills, gas, and food but try to keep the food to $50 a week, I am coming for you coupons. Also we have 5 birthdays in Jan so i will try to get them for free. pretty much that is it.
