Charlie why do u act like a 40 year old, when u are only 3.

Friday good job day.

We have a lot of people in our community do a realy good thing around town. Pics to come later when done. So the kids and I thought it would be a good thing if we took a thank you note and some cookies today for them.
We are also doing some sorting out for some eles. Without them  knowing. Its fun doing nice stuff for people.

Summer still week one.

All  monkeys slept down stairs last night.

Emily daddy and I a lovly letter. (dear mum & dad, I love you to the sun and back , love Emily.

Summer Fun.

We went to a park in Cedar Falls today and went for walk along the cedar. Had a picnic. Ice cream  on the way home. Then paddling pool time, water guns and chalk. Rest time for me. Then we wrote our letter to all six cousin here in the USA and across the pond in Scotland. Also went to the post office and mailed them. It was very windy here in Iowa today so we dicided that water ballons wouldnt work.
On our way home from the post offiee I trapped Emilys finger in the window dont know how it happed as the her door was open so I thought it would be safe to close it. Not sure if its broken, so we will sleep on it and check tomorrow.

Boiled eggs

James 1st Night of Summer

He lasted till 9:35 pm , and begged me to let him sleep down stairs. So I guessed he won.

Schools out

Its 1:30 and schools just got out for summer Emily is 9 and moving on to 4th grd, James is 6 and moving on to 1st, Charlie is 3 and will be going to Pre School when they head back in 12 weeks. In 12 weeks I will be checking into the sic ward. I have lots planned this summer. I had to work today but i left a nice surprize for when they got home from school i Left a sign saying " SUMMER'S HERE" and a tote filled with water guns , water ballons, new chalk a little paddling pool and bubbles. Daddy said they where very happy and went and got into there swim suits right away. Pic here ( didnt take one ) My plan is to put new stuff in the tote every week. Saturday Morning WIth the Inlaws

Went for breakfast at a little dinner in Waterloo, Iowa called Mords "very nice big pancakes" .
Then went shopping for vegetable plants for the family garden.
Then home for a nap. Now trying to mow in 40 mph wind.
Came in for a quick break (better then +!# cake l made last night yummy).

What I am reading right now.

Couldn't wait for  this book to come in. I follow her online website everyday. When She told me that she was publishing a book I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. So When the ups guy came today. I jumped off the sofa and ran to the door. I wanted to start reading it straight away but had to go and work out. So now I am in bed reading it.

Week 1 No Spending

Did really good i think. Spent only $1.47 on a gift plus i added some candy with it 50c and made the card (well i didn't, Emily did).
Of couse we kept up with bills, food and gas, we dont use much as my hubby rides with his dad to work. I work in town 5 blocks from the house and school is 9 blocks so we dont use much gas as u can see. 
I try to go tp town once a week for the sales. We plan for meals for one week at a time and try to keep it around $50 aweek.

I worked out 2 times this week and helped a pal get stuff ready for her daughters party she gave me a ride both times. I have to pay for rowing what is $4 each time and i do R.I.P.P.E.D is a donation so i give a $1.
We are not do a very good job on the trash.  so week 2 is going to be all about that.

Day 3 - No Spending

I am doing ok but it is only day 3 so far i only spent $1.47 on a gift. Hubby on the other hand he is not doing to good with this. I am making sure all the lights are off when we leave the house and go to bed. Also unplugging everything after we use it. You wouldn't believe how much stuff is plugged in that you are not using. Go on try it go round your whole house and check all the plug in you wont believe it.

Not buying anything for 31 days

Our family will be trying not to buy anything for 31 day. I know its going to be hard. we will have some rules and we will be linking up at- We will still pay bills, gas, and food but try to keep the food to $50 a week, I am coming for you coupons. Also we have 5 birthdays in Jan so i will try to get them for free. pretty much that is it. We are also going to try and make sure everything is turned off. keep you posted about whats going on in the 31 days. Feel free to join in.

Hair cut for all 3

No school day, love it went got all the kids hair cuts done. James wanted spikes and Emily wanted a fringe. So there they all are, must say they do look cute. the last is all of james hair cut off.

Green Apples & Red Ones

Charlie and I made a little craft at the library today. I have one year to get him ready for pre school. So I came up with one thing that can teach him Red & Green,  the word Apple, Stop  & Go.
